Admission FAQs
PGPM

IWSB is in the process of tying up with an Indian University. The details will be known in due course of time. Alongside the PGP, you will be able to earn a master’s degree (MBA) awarded by the University, which will make you eligible to apply for a job with the government or in the public sector, or to pursue higher studies in India or abroad, if you so desire.
At IWSB, the faculty uses a mix of different instructional methods. We do not believe in text book learning. So, each course will have a fair share of hands-on, experiential, exploratory, practical, or simulated learning. Also, discussions and seminars form important components of learning here.
Not yet. However, in due course of time, we will work towards getting the necessary accreditations and affiliations.
Will this affect my future career prospects?
The plain and simple answer is ‘No’. The industry recognizes the worth of a program by virtue of its inherent strengths in the areas of curricula, practices, systems and the faculty. The PGP of IWSB has many pluses.
The goal of IWSB’s Career Services is to help with all resources, information and opportunities for you to realize the career that matches your personal and professional goals.
The Centre for Career Services functions as a one-stop shop for your entire career-related needs. Starting with providing career related diagnostics and counseling, to organizing regular interactions with industry leaders who can provide useful guidance and suggestions, and organizing campus career fairs for both summer internships as well as final placements, it serves as an immensely useful resource centre
The core purpose of the CIB at IWSB is to serve as a nodal point for development of international business education for the PGP. It is responsible for the curriculum development for courses in international business, developing international teaching material, offering foreign language courses, organizing workshops and conferences in partnership with institutions around the world, and managing student and faculty exchange programs.
The Business Incubation Centre underscores IWSB’s belief in experiential learning. Entrepreneurship can seldom be learned inside a classroom. The Business Incubation Centre provides our students with all the support, including planning, getting help from successful entrepreneurs, and capital, so that they can actually start their own ventures if they have the wish to do so. It has a seed capital of USD 1 million.
