After doing the PGP will I be eligible to apply for a job with the government or in the public sector? Will I be able to pursue higher studies in India or abroad?

Print

Alongside the PGP, you will be able to earn a master’s degree (MBA) awarded by the University, which will make you eligible to apply for a job with the government or in the public sector, or to pursue higher studies in India or abroad, if you so desire.

How are the courses taught?

Print

At IWSB, the faculty uses a mix of different instructional methods. We do not believe in text book learning. So, each course will have a fair share of hands-on, experiential, exploratory, practical, or simulated learning. Also, discussions and seminars form important components of learning here.

Is the PGP of IWSB approved by AICTE?

Not yet. However, in due course of time, we will work towards getting the necessary accreditations and affiliations.

Will this affect my future career prospects?

The plain and simple answer is ‘No’. The industry recognizes the worth of a program by virtue of its inherent strengths in the areas of curricula, practices, systems and the faculty. The PGP of IWSB has many pluses.

  • The curriculum has been developed by academics who have been deeply entrenched in the field of management education, not only in India but also around the globe. The Academic Committee comprises stalwarts such as Philip Anderson (Dean, INSEAD Singapore), Ishwar Dayal (Founder Director IIM Lucknow, Mirza Saiyadain (ex-faculty IIM Ahmedabad), among others.
  • TThe faculty is top-class who excel in both teaching as well as knowledge creation. They bring with them a rich blend of teaching experience as well as consulting with leading companies.
  • Our students are personally trained by industry leaders.
  • Many organizations have already endorsed the PGP from IWSB and have stated their intent to recruit our students. To view a list of these companies please click here.
