I'm a twenty something guy whose favorite pastime is day dreamin', i have spent more time in books and libraries than in outdoor sports. I've  been an avid quizzzer, since my schooldays. My grades have  been average all through my academic career, but i've more than made up for them by excelling in extracurricular activities.  I  believe that participating is more important than winning. But at the same time it is my conviction that nothing worthwhile is ever achieved without hardwork. i can really slog it out when the situation demands so(when the going gets tuff, the tuff get going)

i've won many prizes and awards at school, college,district and state level, yet becoming a national finalist at "TYCOONS" 2008 has been a revelation of sorts  and a vital inflection point of my life. Interacting with the finest 50 young minds of the country helped me open many of the cobwebs of my mind.

I have a liking for social sciences, and did my graduation with honors in economics before joining iwsb's MBA program. I have a innate liking for economic  and political issues, and like to discuss them with people  around me.Lately business related topics have come within  my ambit of debate and dissent.

I 've learnt a lot in these few months at iwsb. learning from my peer group has been as important for me as learning from the faculty. I've learnt the art of time management in this few months at iwsb. by the time i pass out i'll truly become a manager; of time , resources and money. 

I believe that doing an MBA will help me develop my latent skills and help me to become  a better human being and a concerned citizen. For me, money is a means and not an end in itself. For me self worth is more important than net worth.

I subscribe to the dictum, "To be is to do"

1. Represented IWSB at "Confluence" 2008 held at IIM Ahmedabad. Also successfully completed MSP during my course of stay there.

2. Represented IWSB at BT "Acumen" 2008, North Zone held at IIFT.

3. National Finalist "TYCOONS"- The Great Leadership Hunt 2008.

4. Student Editor "ANANYA"(college mag) Eng Section, 2005-2007.

5. "Utsav" 2007, NIT Rourkela, 3rd prize Creative Writing.

Passions- quizzing, reading books and newspapers, watching hollywood movies, listening to rock music.

Interests - travelling, observing human behavior in the ordinary business of life!!, eating out etc

Dreams - i wish to become a legend in my own lifetime.

Ambition - to head the marketing division of a corporate house within the next 20 yrs.
