Industry Engagement

At IWSB you learn not only in the classroom but also from industry leaders and successful practicing professionals. What’s more, the faculty has strong alliances with industry partners. Such engagement, which is close and continuous, provides just the right environment for enabling hands-on learning.

Projects and Internships

Projects are a part of almost every course that you undertake at IWSB. Many of these will require you to work with the industry. These projects and internships provide valuable exposure to real business problems and the platform to practice what you learn in the classroom. Examples of such projects are the Core Application Project (CAP) and the Multidisciplinary Project.

Seminars and Workshops

An important platform to engage with industry leaders is provided through the regular seminars and workshops organized by students and faculty. These will be industry specific, or function/area specific seminars in which invited speakers share their insights and experiences with students. While organizing such workshops, students get excellent opportunities to closely interact with influential leaders and establish important links.

The IWSB curriculum is impacted by industry leaders on a regular basis. Their valuable inputs provide the real context to learning and allow us to validate the currency of what we are teaching. Of course, this kind of input on the curriculum also ensures that when it comes to employing, the industry leaders are able to choose our students without any reservations.
