World Class Career Services

At IWSB, we take your career most seriously.

Your training for preparing yourself for a career of your choice will start early into the programs. You may have very specific career goals when you enter IWSB, or you may make a choice after you have gained enough knowledge about various options available. Whatever be the case, our goal is to help you think strategically about your career development and to offer you a whole range of services leading to your getting the job of your choice.

Centre for Career Services (CCS)

The goal of the CCS at IWSB is to provide you with all resources, information and opportunities, for you to start on a career path that matches your personal and professional goals. The Centre functions as a one-stop shop for your entire career related needs. The CCS aims to organize regular interactions with industry leaders

who can provide useful guidance and suggestions, to organize special student visits to specific companies where you can learn about employment opportunities, to seek regular feedback from employers and students so as to be more responsive to their needs. And, of course, it organizes on-campus career fairs for both summer internships as well as final placements.

Futuremap

An important function of the CCS is to offer our students one-on-one counseling sessions with senior career coaches. Futuremap is a special psychometric inventory designed by experts that can help you know the areas or industries that are more suited to your style and temperament. Our career coaches are trained to answer all your career related questions. The basic purpose is to help you make the right decisions, to help you set and manage your career objectives. Futuremap services would also endeavour to bring such advisory services from across the world as required for you to make choices about your future career.

Outreach

The 'Outreach' program covers all aspects of IWSB's interface with the external world including the industry. It includes our online careers website that will provide a world of valuable information to our students, including area-specific, industry-specific and organization-specific data and reports. The website is also intended to serve as a useful resource for prospective employers. It also includes all the programs and events conducted at the campus or elsewhere towards your placements, projects, internships, exchange programs, etc.
